Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released the official notification for Technician, Trade, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. A total of 405 vacancies are available across the Western Region including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu.
The online application process will be active from 16th August 2025 to 15th September 2025.

IOCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electronics)
– 3 years full-time Diploma in relevant discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Trade Apprentice (ITI Trades – Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist)
– Matric with ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
Graduate Apprentice
– Regular full-time Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Fresher/Skill Certificate Holder)
– Class 12th pass (but below Graduate).
– Skill certificate required for Skill Certificate Holders.
Age Limit: 18–24 years as of 31 July 2025
(Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD as per govt. rules)
IOCL WR Apprentice Selection Process 2025
Selection will be purely Merit-based.
1️⃣ Merit List – Based on marks in qualifying exam (ITI/Diploma/Graduation/12th).
2️⃣ Document Verification – Verification of eligibility and certificates.
3️⃣ Medical Examination – Candidates must be medically fit as per IOCL standards.

Step 2: Register on NATS/NAPS portal as per category.

Trade Apprentice (ITI/DEO) → apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

Step 3: Log in and fill the online form with personal, educational & apprenticeship details.
Step 4: Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, certificates).
Step 5: Submit application and take a printout for reference.
